Are you a pilot

The flight program “You are a pilot” is a master class for those for whom “just” a hot air balloon flight is not enough!
If you would like to be as involved as possible in all processes before the flight, during the flight itself and most importantly ... to take over control of the aircraft, then this flight program will be able to implement all this.

As part of the “You are a Pilot” program, you will learn a lot about a hot air balloon and its preparation for flight, and will also take direct part in many stages of the work of a real pilot:

You will receive answers to the following questions:
- Why do we fly only at sunrise and before sunset?
- How are the actual wind direction measured?
- How do we choose a launch site and what does our choice depend on?
- How to choose a landing site?

You will learn:
- The structure of a hot air balloon;
- The controls of a hot air balloon;
- What instruments are needed for flight;

Practice:
- Together with an experienced pilot you will “assemble” the entire balloon set;
- You will take part in the “cold filling” of the balloon;
- As the pilot-in-command of the aircraft, you will lift the aircraft off the ground;
- Under the supervision of an experienced pilot-instructor, you will lift the balloon to the altitude specified in the flight plan;
- Using your new knowledge, you will carry out the horizontal flight of the aircraft at a given altitude, and also make a controlled descent to an altitude determined by the instructor pilot;

The amount of flight practice will depend on the actual weather conditions on the day of the flight and your abilities.
